The Warrenton Police Department has released the following activity report for June 17-30. 

Monday, June 17

N State Highway 47, citizen witnessed an animal at large.  Law enforcement was notified and arrived on the scene.  Law enforcement took the dog to the shelter and the owner was identified and contacted.  The owner picked the dog up from the shelter and a citation was issued.

Tuesday, June 18

Warren County Center, store employee witnessed a male subject conceal merchandise as well as skip scan other merchandise in the cart.  Once past all points of sale, the subject was apprehended and a citation was issued.

N State Highway 47, two vehicle accident.  Vehicle one was traveling westbound on the off ramp from interstate 70 when it collided with the rear of vehicle two.

Monday, June 24

Flora Avenue, animal control officer witnessed an animal at large.  Attempts to catch the dog were unsuccessful.  After canvassing the area for the owner, the dog was observed on a lead in its front yard.  The owner was identified and a citation was issued.

Warren County Center, store employee witnessed a male subject skip scan multiple items at self checkout.  Once past all points of sale the male was apprehended and a citation was issued.

Tuesday, June 25

Maple Drive, citizen witnessed an animal at large.  When the animal control officer arrived on the scene, the dog was standing in the road.  The owner was identified and contacted and a citation was issued.

Saturday, June 29

47 Warrior Avenue, two vehicle accident.  Driver one was attempting to yield when their foot slipped off the brake, resulting with vehicle one colliding with the rear of vehicle two.  Minor damage was reported and no injuries were reported.

Warren County Center, store employee witnessed a female skip scanning multiple items.  Once past all points of sale, the subject was apprehended and a citation was issued.
