A Wright City man was involved in a motorcycle accident in Lincoln County caused by a downed tree last Friday afternoon.
Daniel Hughes, 65, of Wright City was traveling north on Route W north of Route B where a tree had fallen and blocked the roadway around a corner. Hughes then struck the tree on his Kawasaki Z900, according to the crash report.
Hughes recevied minor injuries and was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital West by the Lincoln County Ambulance District. His motorcycle received moderate damage and was removed from the scene by Priority One Towing.
