The accident occurred on Highway 47 in Lincoln County Wednesday afternoon.
Hetal Patel, 45, of Hawk Point, was stopped at the intersection of westbound Highway 47 and Route J/H when she was struck from behind by a juvenile, 16, who then drove her into the side of Jaime Simms' vehicle while she was turning onto westbound 47 from Route J.
Simms, 46, of Warrenton, was moderately injured in the accident. Patel received minor injuries and both were transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West by personal conveyance according to the crash report. The juvenile did not report any injuries.
The juvenile's vehicle received moderate damage and was removed from the scene by Kinions Towing. Simms' vehicle received extensive damage and was taken by Priority 1 Towing. Hetal's vehicle also recevied extensive damage but was driven from the scene.
